<p><u>CHINA INC</u> &#8211; Write a four paragraph editorial for the school newspaper explaining how China is using its population, current political system, and its resources to become a world power that challenges the number one position and status of the United States.</p>
<p><u>WALKING DRUM</u> &#8211; Write a four paragraph editorial for the school newspaper about the <u>Walking Drum</u>. Include book examples of the Five Themes of Geography and a comparison of the attitudes, lecel of technology, and the quality of life that existed in Southern Europe (the Mediterranean region), Northern Europe, and the Middle East during the 12th century.</p>
